Weather By The Hour

Don't forget as you check on the weather to check in with the One who calms the storms!

Fields White To Harvest

Lord, I thought I knew you,

but know the winds have changed.

Tossed away, will you find me?

Can still , my heart be sustained?

Just me and you when things were new,

then the season's storms blew by.

Did I forget to worship you?

Will you come, Lord Jesus to gather us- your sheep.

For the days grow long and still,

If we watch and wait, will you hear us yet-

Can we stand strong to do you will?

The wheat has been blowing in that field,

While the laborers are so few.

What then, now are we waiting for?

Can hardened hearts become like new?

Safely can we stay behind you,

as we march with your trumpet sound?

Or- have we stayed and hid so long now,

   That our roots dry underground?

I pray Lord that you will find me.

I pray not to be ashamed.

I seek you when it's early Lord.

I pray not to fall away.

So come Lord Jesus come quickly-

The terrible day is at hand.

I pray we'll all be steadfast.

So you may strengthen our spirits ,

as we stand.

The Truth About Alabama's Student Harassment Prevention Act

Jesus said to his disciples: "Things that cause people to stumble are bound to come, but woe to anyone through whom they come. It would be better for you to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around your neck than for you to cause one of these little ones to stumble." Luke 17:1,2   Alabama has passed such a law--we need your help.  Link to the bill HB 216

Audio: Podcasts about the Student Harassment Prevention Act

Hear interviews with Focus on the Family's Candi Kushman, Alcap's Jo Godfrey, Alliance Defense Fund-Tim Tracey etc .   There is also a federal version in the making.  See links below that will open your eyes to the dangerous agenda.  Laws are being passed that are supposed to make schools "safe" from bullying etc. but because of the Kevin Jenning's GLSEN agenda it is being hijacked to open the door and indoctrinate our children into homosexuality instead of addressing the true problems.   Please remember to pray for this issue for our children are at great risk and share this information as there is not enough discussion on this issue in the newspapers today.

Please be sure to also listen to future podcasts on this issue. Upcoming is an interview with David Parker (father who experienced the results of this agenda in Massachusetts--his story revealed the truth for Prop 8 in California).

Please pray and then consider these steps and pass it on:

1. Listen to the podcasts and get truly informed on this issue.

2. Read the blog sites (see address below) to understand their plans

3. Go to true tolerance.org and download the pdf file that you can take to your local schoolboards.

4. Present them asap as there is a deadline for the inputs.

Give local school board members a  pdf file from truetolerance.org

There will be schoold board trainings at district meetings between Jan 11th and Feb 18th on this.

5. Please make sure to bring this up to PTO and PTA meetings and be there for your local school board meetings.

6. Write letters to the editor on your local papers so more parents would find out about this law.

7.  Post it on facebook and share with your friends and family.

There is not much info on this law that was passed at the end of the legislative session but here are info on the internet that will give you a glimpse of the agenda--beware for your children's future is at stake.  Simple searches on google on the state's anti-harassment policy and sexual orientation has led to amazing results--here are some to look at and you can probably find more on your own.

GLSEN (Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network-founded by Kevin Jennings) recommends four simple and effective steps that schools can implement to improve school climate and make school safer for every student.

· Adopt a comprehensive anti-bullying policy that enumerates categories such as race, gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation and gender expression/identity. Enumeration is crucial to ensure that anti-bullying policies are effective for LGBT students and those targeted with anti-LGBT bullying.
· Provide staff trainings to enable school staff to identify and address anti-LGBT name-calling, bullying and harassment effectively and in a timely manner.
· Support student efforts to address anti-LGBT bullying and harassment on campus, such as the formation of a Gay-Straight Alliance or participation in the National Day of Silence on April 17.
· Institute age-appropriate, inclusive curricula to help students understand and respect difference within the school community and society as a whole.

Above excerpt from:

From Left in Alabama, Revff is looking for Alabamans interested in supporting the inclusion of sexual orientation in new state anti-harassment laws for schools.

Joe Cottle, Director of Government Relations for the Alabama Educational Association is currently seeking of names and contact info (address, phone, email) for anyone willing to be listed in support of a sexual orientation listing

Above is excerpt from this webpage read rest at : http://mediagadfly.wordpress.com/2009/07/10/quick-hit-from-left-in-alabama-sexual-orientation-and-anti-harassment-laws/

This is a REALLY important survey as part of Equality Alabama's safe schools initiative. Basically, we're trying to get the public schools to add sexual orientation and gender identity to their non-discrimination, anti-bullying, and anti-harassment policies. Read rest from http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.ListAll&friendId=311092442

On Kevin Jennings--there is info that talks about what they were caught teaching in Massachusetts which Kevin Jennings saw nothing wrong with but it would make a decent person sick.  Massachusetts children have had their innocence taken away in of all places--schools because of same sex marriage passing in their state--but be aware Kevin Jennings is hard at work to realize his dream of promoting homosexuality in all schools. Read more for his national dream may be in the making.

Yom Kippur and Benjamin Netanyahu at the UN--Do you want to be blessed?

Yom Kippur is the Day of Atonement and is a time for fasting and repentance marking the holiest day of the Jewish year and is called in the Torah as the “Sabbath of Sabbaths.”

From a few minutes before sunset on September 27 until nightfall the next day the Jews fulfill the biblical commandment in Leviticus 16:29-32 to fast from both food and water. It is a time for deep search within one’s soul and asking for forgiveness in prayers. Jews do not wash or anoint their bodies, nor wear leather footwear.

See the scriptures on the bottom of the page.

On the morning they have two readings. The first is from Leviticus 16:1-34 which discusses the instructions for the priestly service which would enable them to achieve atonement for their nation. Number 29:7-11 also read describing the sacrificial service. Another reading from Isaiah 57:14-58:14 urges the people to return to God and to do good deeds and kindness.

It is also filled with special prayers including the Shema (Deuteronomy 6:4) which Moses heard when he was on the Mount Sinai receiving the Torah from God.

They have five prayer services--

Ma'ariv--conducted on the eve of Yom Kippur

Shacharit--the morning prayer

Musaf--immediately follows morning service

Minchah--in the afternoon and which includes the reading of the book of Jonah

Ne’illah--known as the ”closing of the gates” at sunset which climaxes in the declaration “Hear O Israel…God is one” with a followed with a single blast of the shofar, or ram’s horn.

Jews also recite the Psalms many times during the day.

Although it is the most solemn day of the year, there is also a joyful part to it as it celebrates the spirituality of the day and expresses the confidence that God will accept our repentance, forgive our sins and provide us with a year of life, health and happiness.

After the Ne’illah service comes the cry, “Next year in Jerusaleml!” followed by dancing and singing and festive after-fast meal.

The next Jewish festival is Sukkot which will begin this year on Oct. 2.

And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. GEN 12:3

WHERE WILL AMERICA'S PRESIDENT STAND WITH ISRAEL--WILL YOU CALL AND LET HIM KNOW WE WANT OUR NATION TO BE A BLESSING NOT A CURSE?  CALL 202 456-1414.

You decide where you stand.  I pray our nation will bless Israel.

Psalm 122:6,7

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.

--Matthew Henry's Commentary.

God made choice of Abram, and singled him out from among his fellow-idolaters, that he might reserve a people for himself, among whom his true worship might be maintained till the coming of Christ. From henceforward Abram and his seed are almost the only subject of the history in the Bible. Abram was tried whether he loved God better than all, and whether he could willingly leave all to go with God. His kindred and his father's house were a constant temptation to him, he could not

continue among them without danger of being infected by them. Those who leave their sins, and turn to God, will be unspeakable gainers by the change. The command God gave to Abram, is much the same with the gospel call, for natural affection must give way to Divine grace. Sin, and all the occasions of it, must be forsaken; particularly bad company. Here are many great and precious promises. All God's precepts are attended with promises to the obedient. 1. I will make of thee a great nation.

When God took Abram from his own people, he promised to make him the head of another people. 2. I will bless thee. Obedient believers shall be sure to inherit the blessing. 3. I will make thy name great. The name of obedient believers shall certainly be made great. 4. Thou shalt be a blessing. Good men are the blessings of their country. 5. I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee. God will take care that none are losers, by any service done for his people. 6. In thee

shall all the families of the earth be blessed. Jesus Christ is the great blessing of the world, the greatest that ever the world possessed. All the true blessedness the world is now, or ever shall be possessed of, is owing to Abram and his posterity. Through them we have a Bible, a Saviour, and a gospel. They are the stock on which the Christian church is grafted. (Ge 12:4)

THE SCRIPTURES NAMED ABOVE:

Leviticus 16:29-32 (KJV)

29And this shall be a statute for ever unto you: that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger that sojourneth among you:

30For on that day shall the priest make an atonement for you, to cleanse you, that ye may be clean from all your sins before the LORD.

31It shall be a sabbath of rest unto you, and ye shall afflict your souls, by a statute for ever.

32And the priest, whom he shall anoint, and whom he shall consecrate to minister in the priest's office in his father's stead, shall make the atonement, and shall put on the linen clothes, even the holy garments:

Leviticus 16:1-34 (King James Version)

Leviticus 16

 1And the LORD spake unto Moses after the death of the two sons of Aaron, when they offered before the LORD, and died;

2And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the holy place within the vail before the mercy seat, which is upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat.

3Thus shall Aaron come into the holy place: with a young bullock for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering.

4He shall put on the holy linen coat, and he shall have the linen breeches upon his flesh, and shall be girded with a linen girdle, and with the linen mitre shall he be attired: these are holy garments; therefore shall he wash his flesh in water, and so put them on.

5And he shall take of the congregation of the children of Israel two kids of the goats for a sin offering, and one ram for a burnt offering.

6And Aaron shall offer his bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself, and make an atonement for himself, and for his house.

7And he shall take the two goats, and present them before the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

8And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for the LORD, and the other lot for the scapegoat.

9And Aaron shall bring the goat upon which the LORD's lot fell, and offer him for a sin offering.

10But the goat, on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat, shall be presented alive before the LORD, to make an atonement with him, and to let him go for a scapegoat into the wilderness.

11And Aaron shall bring the bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself, and shall make an atonement for himself, and for his house, and shall kill the bullock of the sin offering which is for himself:

12And he shall take a censer full of burning coals of fire from off the altar before the LORD, and his hands full of sweet incense beaten small, and bring it within the vail:

13And he shall put the incense upon the fire before the LORD, that the cloud of the incense may cover the mercy seat that is upon the testimony, that he die not:

14And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it with his finger upon the mercy seat eastward; and before the mercy seat shall he sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times.

15Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within the vail, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat:

16And he shall make an atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins: and so shall he do for the tabernacle of the congregation, that remaineth among them in the midst of their uncleanness.

17And there shall be no man in the tabernacle of the congregation when he goeth in to make an atonement in the holy place, until he come out, and have made an atonement for himself, and for his household, and for all the congregation of Israel.

18And he shall go out unto the altar that is before the LORD, and make an atonement for it; and shall take of the blood of the bullock, and of the blood of the goat, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about.

19And he shall sprinkle of the blood upon it with his finger seven times, and cleanse it, and hallow it from the uncleanness of the children of Israel.

20And when he hath made an end of reconciling the holy place, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar, he shall bring the live goat:

21And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness:

22And the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities unto a land not inhabited: and he shall let go the goat in the wilderness.

23And Aaron shall come into the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall put off the linen garments, which he put on when he went into the holy place, and shall leave them there:

24And he shall wash his flesh with water in the holy place, and put on his garments, and come forth, and offer his burnt offering, and the burnt offering of the people, and make an atonement for himself, and for the people.

25And the fat of the sin offering shall he burn upon the altar.

26And he that let go the goat for the scapegoat shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward come into the camp.

27And the bullock for the sin offering, and the goat for the sin offering, whose blood was brought in to make atonement in the holy place, shall one carry forth without the camp; and they shall burn in the fire their skins, and their flesh, and their dung.

28And he that burneth them shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp.

33And he shall make an atonement for the holy sanctuary, and he shall make an atonement for the tabernacle of the congregation, and for the altar, and he shall make an atonement for the priests, and for all the people of the congregation.

34And this shall be an everlasting statute unto you, to make an atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year. And he did as the LORD commanded Moses.

Numbers 29:7-11 (King James Version)

7And ye shall have on the tenth day of this seventh month an holy convocation; and ye shall afflict your souls: ye shall not do any work therein:

8But ye shall offer a burnt offering unto the LORD for a sweet savour; one young bullock, one ram, and seven lambs of the first year; they shall be unto you without blemish:

9And their meat offering shall be of flour mingled with oil, three tenth deals to a bullock, and two tenth deals to one ram,

10A several tenth deal for one lamb, throughout the seven lambs:

11One kid of the goats for a sin offering; beside the sin offering of atonement, and the continual burnt offering, and the meat offering of it, and their drink offerings

Isaiah 57:14-58:14 (KJV0

14And shall say, Cast ye up, cast ye up, prepare the way, take up the stumblingblock out of the way of my people.

15For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

16For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made.

17For the iniquity of his covetousness was I wroth, and smote him: I hid me, and was wroth, and he went on frowardly in the way of his heart.

18I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.

19I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the LORD; and I will heal him.

20But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.

21There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.

Isaiah 58

1Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.

2Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching to God.

3Wherefore have we fasted, say they, and thou seest not? wherefore have we afflicted our soul, and thou takest no knowledge? Behold, in the day of your fast ye find pleasure, and exact all your labours.

4Behold, ye fast for strife and debate, and to smite with the fist of wickedness: ye shall not fast as ye do this day, to make your voice to be heard on high.

5Is it such a fast that I have chosen? a day for a man to afflict his soul? is it to bow down his head as a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? wilt thou call this a fast, and an acceptable day to the LORD?

6Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?

7Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?

8Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy reward.

 9Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;

10And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noon day:

11And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

12And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.

13If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:

14Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

HB 216--Harassment Prevention Act --is it a Trojan Horse?

HB 216--Harassment Prevention Act --is it a Trojan Horse--the enemy has tried to place in the heart of the Bible belt? What it becomes is up to "We the people..."  The price of freedom is vigilance so all must know about this latest twist in the  fight for our children.  A must hear for every family.  See on top navigation bar -Radio Show and listen to a bill that will take away the innocence of our young children.  Safe schools Czar-Kevin Jennings has a dream to promote homosexuality in schools and he is using the word safety as a way to get it in.  Parents must be aware of his radical ideas and those that surround him.  There is a way to fight bullying without harming our children's minds by making it gender neutral.

There are better ways and there is hope on how to deal with this issue.  Please listen to podcast dated 9-26-09 on this matter.

Here are some parts of what is on the internet on this--click on this link for all  to read:

(12) A procedure for promulgating rules to implement this act, including the development of a model studentcomplaint form. The department shall seek public input in developing and revising the model policy, model complaint form, and any other necessary forms.(13) A procedure for the development of a nonexhaustive list of the specific personal characteristics of a student which may often lead to harassment. Based upon experience, a local board of education may add, but notremove, characteristics from the list. The additional characteristics or perceived characteristics that cause harassment shall be identified by the local board on a case-by-case basis and added to the local board policy.
