Lord, I thought I knew you,

   but know the winds have changed.

Tossed away, will you find me?

   Can still , my heart be sustained?

Just me and you when things were new,

then the season's storms blew by.

   Did I forget to worship you?

 

Will you come, Lord Jesus to gather us- your sheep.

   For the days grow long and still,

If we watch and wait, will you hear us yet-

   Can we stand strong to do you will?

 

 The wheat has been blowing in that field,

   While the laborers are so few.

What then, now are we waiting for?

   Can hardened hearts become like new?

 

 Safely can we stay behind you,

   as we march with your trumpet sound?

Or- have we stayed and hid so long now,

   That our roots dry underground?

I pray Lord that you will find me.

   I pray not to be ashamed.

I seek you when it's early Lord.

   I pray not to fall away.

So come Lord Jesus come quickly-

   The terrible day is at hand.

I pray we'll all be steadfast.

   So you may strengthen our spirits ,

as we stand.

Hear Part 2 of the interview with John Bernard, father of slain Lance Cpl Joshua Bernard, Wayne Wood Chm of the Wiregrass 912 group, Veteran Glen Reeder and John Stone--in charge of media for Rep John Carter of Tx--co-chair of Army Caucus. John Bernard talks abou the new military revised rules of engagement. It cost his son's life and and he is trying to help save lives by getting this administration to change the rules of engagement which places our men in more danger than they already . With the deaths of two US troops Sunday, a total of 24 Americans, most of them military, have died in a 48-hour period. October 2009 has seen 58 fatalities, the deadliest month for the US military since the Afghanistan war began in Oct. 2001 -part of the reason to the dramatic increase maybe the revised rules of engagement which has emboldened the enemy.  Please visit John Bernard's website let themfight.blogspot.com Mr. John Bernard must be heard!
