Election Will Determine Your Child's Future--Human Capital and Assessing For Compliance? Who To Vote For--"By Their Fruits Ye Shall Know Them"--Matthew 7:20

Here's food for thought from a quote by Martin Luther King, Jr.-"The first question which the priest and the Levite asked was: 'If I stop to help this man, what will happen to me?' But... the good Samaritan reversed the question: 'If I do not stop to help this man, what will happen to him?"

The sad thing is that most voters do not realize that in this year's election if they do not stop to help the least of us (the children that is in the middle of a "mind war" in schools), what will happen will indeed affect all of US.

You see the Common Core Standards are so bad that Professors Sandra Stosky and Jim Milgram (who were asked by developers of Common Core to head Validation Committee) refused to validate it.

However,  the most troubling aspect of these invalid standards are pointed out by Anita Hogue in this incredible interview with Charlotte Iserbyt.  A must hear for everyone concerned with this issue.  Anita Hogue won a case using the PPRA (Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment).

Here are some points in this eye-opening interview along with key terms:

Assessment is the "value" of property.  Children are now referred to as " human capital" (or Products as referred to by Billy Canary  of BCA).  Assessment is the value of our children the human capital.

Total Quality Management is Quality Control to make sure there is compliance of each individual system (just like the Obamacare individual mandate).

All systems must be  geared toward compliance!

Assessing or testing and re-testing is necessary to determine compliance!

Remember the Recovery Act- 4.35 billion poured into education. Eash state pressured to do a longitudinal system where every aspect  of education was put on computer.  RTT grants had little "compliance requirements."

The "Crosswalk"- a software that is used to take what your doing in local district and crosses over and links to the national system was developed.

Total Quality Management--a system called feed back "loop" control.

• Key is collection on local level, that's your testing your assessment . It all begins there-locally. You have  to collect information on the individual

• You're going to score the info on whatever the government wants (hmm--global warming, sex ed etc. etc.), then you analyze it.
• Then you target for interventions. 
• Then you analyze it again
• And starts again then you do a re-testing,

That's why its called the "loop", continual evaluation testing, to meet the stardards.

Most importan thing that happened is the Common Core Standards.  It's most important reasoning is to standardize your child (make compliant/conform).

This is a powershift away from local control- a power shift  from Competency Based Education To Outcome Based Education (OBE)To Federal Level!

Common Core is creating 1.National Curriculum 2.  National Test.

Obama instituted by fiat the NCLB waivers with a big push to force teachers to teach Common core.

Teachers are to now be evaluated on how their students are doing on tests.  Teachers no longer have control of their classrom as they now must comply with system.  Children are being tortured by testing and re-testing--it is mastery learning, conditioning the children.  Children are stressed  and not wanting to be drilled anymore. 

Very unnatural defies difference in people.  Forces everyone to be average.

Used in continual testing feedback loop control.

We have already seen Socialism at work in our healthcare...is it too far-fetched to think it's not going on in education?  Wake-up America before it's too late and your children will have no choice but to conform. 

The upcoming elections starting with the Primaries are key if you want to regain control!

So how do you determine who to vote for?

1.  First pray for wisdom from God

2.  Study the Superintendent of Education and see who are his allies and what decisions he had made on Common Core. 

3.  Study the candidates.  In Alabama, the Congressional candidates have had almost three years to get rid of Common Core.  Why didn't they?  Study who controlled your candidate.  What are the chances that candidate will do something different this time around?

4.  Records speak louder.  Please check out who has been exposing Common Core and who has tried to promote it.  Don't rely on savvy media marketing.  There is so much $$$$ behind promoting Common Core that people who will normally do right have turned on this one issue.

5.  Join Stop Common Core group on fb in your state.

6.  Band together in your towns and do sign waves, conferences and  always have copies of information as you can share them at grocery stores, school car lines etc.

7.  Give the issue to prayer groups in your churches and community.  Share and remember read 1Cor2:16... you are able with God's help as nothing is impossible with God.

Whereas, Alabama Superintendent of Education Tommy Bice has advocated replacing the high and well-proven educational standards of Alabama with the sub-standard experimental national standards of the Obama Administration, which were developed by progressive educational reformers in Achieve, Inc, copyrighted by two Washington,
D.C. based organizations, and are partially funded by the partnership of the Pearson and Gates Foundations, none of which was done within the state of Alabama, and
Whereas, Tommy Bice has repeatedly told the people of Alabama that the College and Career Readiness Standards were constructed and developed by Alabamians when in fact, forty five other states have exactly the same standards, with Alabama having added Alabama specific standards of less than 3% to ELA and less than 15% to Math, and

Whereas, Tommy Bice has misrepresented the longitudinal data base essential to the College and Career Readiness System/ Common Core System, saying that private and personal student and family information will not be shared with federal agencies and private companies when in fact, the system requires it, and,
Whereas, Tommy Bice in 2013, began an unprecedented government intrusion into Christian Schools, Private Schools and Home Schools to regulate and tax them until he was forced to temporarily retreat from it due to the loud and immediate outcry by Alabama citizens to protect their freedom, and
Whereas Tommy Bice has demonstrated disrespect to Alabama parents and the Governor by making it extremely difficult for parents to exercise their authority regarding the ACT Aspire assessments,

God Bless Alabama's Gov. Bentley For Being The First In The Nation To Say-- No Sit And Stare Policy During Common Core Testings.

God is merciful and heard the many pleas of Alabama's families on their knees in prayer.  Multitudes of heads bowed down in meetings after meetings have resulted in something akin to a miracle.  Governor Robert Bentley has taken a stand for the children of Alabama (please call him and thank him).  Parents can opt their child(ren) out of the assessments and will not have to suffer the sit and stare policies that most state are under. Principals and Superintendents across Alabama are being informed but many have given parents a hard time and there is a Petition (see link here) that is being sent to the Governor..  For other states...write letters to your leaders if denied.  The PPRA is in your student handbooks.  Charlotte Iserbyt cites it as important to use.  Support your Stop Common Core movement in your state by liking them on fb and getting pertinent information (Alabama's is Stop Common Core in Alabama).  And most importantly remember to pray as Ben Franklin cited in his speech in the Continental Congress.."have we forgotten that powerful friend?"  In Alabama, we have not...we acknowledge we have need of him.  To find out why this is important--to these two eye-opening interviews:  One is from Joan Landes--mental health therapist and the other is Anita Hogue who won a case using the PPRA --listen here and   here . 

In Alabama:  here is a sample of our original Opt Out Form which now has additions, that you can change to suit you (copy and paste).  Now that the Governor is behind parents, simpler letters are good.  Please note in many cases parents are turned down initially as schools are not used to this new way of thinking and information has not been shared across the state properly by Ed Dept.  Parents that are denied opt out have to ask the principal to contact Superintendent .  If still turned down then please call Tommy Bice office at 334 242-9704 and also send email to the Education Advisor in Gov Bentley's office get email at (334) 242-7100.  Same thing if there are threats that opting out of tests will affect next years advancement or getting in honors classes etc (one mom was told if kids don't take test, they can't qualify for presidential award next year because scores are factored into the award)--please call Tommy Bice office at 334 242-9704 and at same time email the Education Advisor with information so the Gov. office will see what is happening.  We are hearing from many happy parents.  God is good!

Please find three version of non-consent to testing/assessments.  These are suggestions after having looked at many opt out or refusal forms.  Please visit this excellent website and determine for yourself what is best for your situation.  NY has been at it a lot longer than most states.  Here are additional link to study about the Hatch Amendment

The first one should have the model notification printed on back and gives you the rights to receive notice and opportunity to opt out (see number 3) and the right to inspect (and not samples).

The second one is a Refusal Letter as many are being told they can not opt out.  In this situation, your child needs to bring one everyday of testing and he/she can not fill in any of the test (just push it aside-don't even put in name).

Third one is for those that wants to just take child out of testing period.

As parent/legal guardian you do have rights.  Please study.  These are just food for thought samples.  We will be praying for you.

What Does Movie GOD Is NOT Dead Have To Do With Common Core-In Short That Is A Main Subject Of Common Core

There is a new movie out called God is not Dead and it stars Kevin Sorbo.  This is a must watch for all but specially for teens.  There has been a huge movement to remove God from schools , the halls of Congress, the military (even in military funerals) and you see the results.  But no matter how hard those who do not believe try--GOD's Not Dead.  He Lives!!!For in him we live (zao {dzah'-o}, and move, and have our being; Acts 17:28

This movie is so timely as everyone is struggling with so many things.  It seems like the world and problems are spinning faster than ever.  At times it takes a lot just to make it through a day.  Even something that used to be so simple as sending your kids to school is not so simple anymore.  You used to could trust that the school was a safe place for your child to learn so that he would have a good foundation for the future.

But alas, as always there are those who like the character Kevin Sorbo plays--think they are God.  Some are in business like Bill Gates of Microsoft and his cronies and some are in the highest offices of the land who with the power they weild can make mountains of policies move as we saw in Obamacare.  Then they have their minions throughout the land and throughout the states seeing the changes within the plan are carried it out for the intended result.  The Bible says there is nothing new under the sun and how evident is that today.

But just when the top dog like Bill Gates think he has all the power--even he, will realize that he is just a puppet on a string.

Mark 8:36 sends a warning:

 What good is it if someone gains the whole world but loses his soul?

But I guess if you hold so much power the Words from an Awesome God may not mean much to you.

Fight for your child in school, Homeschool if possible(--here's a link to help).

Fight for your school in the education system--learn about opting him out so that he doesn't have to go through the mental stress of the tests (here's an example for one state -Alabama and the suggested back of it should have this .  Study your state's laws as for example in NY I Refuse is better than Opt Out.

Get your friends, family, teachers and church educated (Please listen to these audio to help get some important points in your mind...

If You've Been Told Common Core Is Not Nationalized (Or Should We Say Centralized)--Then Look At Their Central Planning

Most states signed on to these Common Core Standards since Jan 2010 and to date almost all states, except ten, have a movement to repeal them.  Why?  Because many parents have seen in their own homes that they are poisoning the minds of America's children, besides dumbing them down and at the same time--costing the states money, they do not have.  But, there are those making money and guess who they are --the developers and promoters.  To top it off, they have the audacity to force taxpayers to pay for the assaults on the children.  Can parents afford to play dead or trust their legislators.

It is very rare to find legislators against Common Core and therefore this election will be key to removing the poison from the states.

Here's where you know there are central planners to Common Core.  You can just hear it across states.

This is an excerpt of musings on the Indiana Repeal:

Even with this new bill we have to wonder how much Indiana is surrendering control over their standards.

SB 91 originally stated that the new Indiana standards must “comply with federal standards to receive a flexibility waiver under 20 U.S.C. 7861.” Proponents believe that “college and career ready standards” means adopting Common Core or something practically identical to the Common Core State Standards in order to stay within compliance of the state’s conditional waiver.

The bill also says the standards must “Prepare Indiana students for college and career success,  including the proper preparation for nationally recognized college entrance examinations such as the ACT and SAT.”  While that seems good, ACT and SAT have said their tests will be aligned to the Common Core.

Also they can lead you to Door #2

• Door #2--Control leadership such as Alabama's Senator Del Marsh.  As Speaker Pro Tem he is able to use the same ploy as he did last year and prevent an anti-Common Core bill from being voted on.  You see that repeated in many states and the Business Council's seem to be the voices heard over the people.  Hmmm but God is not dead and there will be an accounting.

As the above picture clearly shows,  America's foundation is being destroyed and it is happening in the classroom.  The planners of Obamacare now are fully implementing Obamacore.  Can we learn and not repeat lessons from Obamacare?

Let the local boards be able to choose to opt out of Common Core--that is what the Central Planners want as in reality they know whose really in charge. Teachers are afraid to speak out locally -so the truth will not be heard and that is the enemy of error.

Let's be strong and ask Sen Beason's original bill be allowed to be voted on instead of being changed to suit those that didn't want it voted on in the first place.  Let's stand for what's right for a change and pray hard that these people will be convicted to follow an awesome God and His ways.  

I pray they will ask themselves--what would Jesus do?  Simple question but yet so full of wisdom.  I hope they will do as George Washington and many others like him at the beginning of this nation, when things looked so hopeless and they felt so helpless. 

That's when God shines the brightest and I believe God is looking down upon every county Superintendent, every principal, every legislator and Governor..knowing full well their relationship with Him will determine the fate of the children and their very own.

Let's remember our history and these famous words from Ben Franklin:

COMMENTARY:  Response to “The Stubborn facts regarding Common Core” by Alabama Superintendent of Education Tommy Bice 

“Yes, Dr. Bice, If you like your doctor and your health insurance, you can keep them.”  Your promise that Alabama can  maintain full “state control of our public education system” is right up there with this promise.  Alabama has signed agreements with the federal government to implement Common Core K-12 education standards one hundred percent as written.  Common Core is a one-size-fits-all national standards for K-12 that will be compulsory and will replace existing state standards for curricula, textbooks, testing, teacher instruction, teacher evaluation, and assessments.  Despite your careful parsing and clever spins, these are “stubborn facts.”  But facts didn’t matter from the beginning when the state board of education agreed to adopt Common Core to replace Alabama’s tradition educational standards without public debate.   

Like ObamaCare, neither you nor the state board of education knew what would be in the Common Core curriculum when you rushed to sign up when the federal government dangled billions of dollars to states who would sign on to Race to the Top to usher in revolutionary education reform, which was not written, untested and unresearched, and would be used by the Obama Administration as official education policy.  You obligated parents, teachers, and legislators (who have final authority over public education) without their approval and took away parental and states rights.  Neither you nor the state board of education had that constitutional right.  This is a “stubborn fact” that you ignore. 

 The Application of Race to the Top and Waivers to No Child Left Behind Mandated the Implementation of Common Core

While it’s a “fact” that Alabama was not awarded Race to the Top grants, Alabama applied and was refused twice but nevertheless Alabama had to agree to adopt and implement one hundred percent the Common Core Standards, not yet written, whether or not Alabama received the federal bait.  The same was true to get the Obama Administration to grant Alabama a waiver to No Child Left Behind.  Yet you continually omit these “stubborn facts.”

 Common Core is Copyright and Cannot be Changed by States

You also never mention who owns the copyright to the Common Core Standards.  You should since you are a member of one of those two private organizations, the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO), which has partnered with the National Governors Association (NGA).  The writing and marketing of the Common Core standards, written without transparency and without legislative authority, were written under the auspices of these two lobbying organizations.  Both organizations have accepted hundreds of millions of dollars from the federal government and Gates Corporation to convince states to approve national, one-size-fits-all K-12 education standards.  Changes to Common Core can only be made by the copyright holders.  Importantly, the copyright that your organization  holds includes a disclaimer that the organization cannot be held liable or accountable for any harm that might come to our students from the implementation of the standards.

Children’s Privacy is Breached

 Parents are spooked that changes have been made to the FERPA law that allows the collection of confidential student data and its storage in a giant database online, which will be shared by federal agencies and private parties.  Such sharing  (illegal until the Obama Administration changed the FERPA law, again bypassing Congress and without a whisper of alarm from Dr. Bice about this presidential abuse of power and how it would remove protection from our students.)  As exposed by crack investigative journalist Stephanie Simon and stated by Diane Ravitch, a former Reagan education cabinet member, now, our children’s and grandchildren’s “personal and confidential data will be sold or given to entrepreneurs for marketing purposes” such as to the Gates Foundation, Carnegie Corporation, CompassLearning, Pearson, and others.  Instead of blindly and silently giving into the lawlessness of the Obama Administration, and working with big business to boost their profits at the expense of our children’s privacy and safety, the Alabama state board of education should be shouting from the rooftops about how FERPA endangers our children.

Dr. Bice also ignores the fact that Common Core textbooks and suggested reading materials that teach that: (1) “Government is like a nation’s family because it sets rules and takes care of needs such as health care and education.  So says a worksheet for social studies homework … complete with a drawing of Uncle Sam cradling a baby that represents the citizens.” (2) Some textbooks and related materials include porn, incest, profanity, promiscuity and encourage having children out of wedlock, writings that condemn Christianity, capitalism, and praise Castro and communism.

 Does Alabama Want to Help President Obama use Education to Fulfill his “Battle for Social Justice?”

President Obama’s Secretary of Education has characterized Common Core as a “revolution” to help in the “battle for social justice”.  Why should Dr. Bice, the state board of education, and the Alabama legislature play any part in embracing Common Core and be used to fulfill a socialist fantasy so against Alabama values and in violation of the Tenth Amendment?

 The only way to stop this travesty, and to restore parental and states’ rights over local education is to replace incumbents who support Common Core and convince Alabama legislators to repeal Common Core before it, like ObamaCare, is embedded.
