Fields White To Harvest

Lord, I thought I knew you,

but know the winds have changed.

Tossed away, will you find me?

Can still , my heart be sustained?

Just me and you when things were new,

then the season's storms blew by.

Did I forget to worship you?

Will you come, Lord Jesus to gather us- your sheep.

For the days grow long and still,

If we watch and wait, will you hear us yet-

Can we stand strong to do you will?

The wheat has been blowing in that field,

While the laborers are so few.

What then, now are we waiting for?

Can hardened hearts become like new?

Safely can we stay behind you,

as we march with your trumpet sound?

Or- have we stayed and hid so long now,

That our roots dry underground?

I pray Lord that you will find me.

I pray not to be ashamed.

I seek you when it's early Lord.

I pray not to fall away.

So come Lord Jesus come quickly-

The terrible day is at hand.

I pray we'll all be steadfast.

So you may strengthen our spirits ,

as we stand.

Hear Part II of the amazing account of Col (Ret.) Danny MckNight on this incident of terrorism in Somalia. We can not thank our military enough for laying down their lives for this nation and its people. This is an example of our warriors at their best. Be sure to share this with your children and your children's children so they will never forget to honor our soldiers and that freedom isn't free. Also included is Lt. Col. John Eidsmoe who was another speaker at this event--Salute To The Keepers of Freedom in 2006.

Casting Crowns and Nick Vujicic--Shining His Light

A reminder of who you are (loved by God) and where your hope and strength comes from. Thanks to Nick Vujicic of Lifewithoutlimbs.org, Casting Crowns and their awesome youths at Eagles Landing First Baptist Church of McDonough Georgia. There is also a small clip from Sandra Cano of Doe v Bolton whose case along with Roe v Wade changed the fate of millions forever. In her case she never wanted an abortion but she was used to promote that lie. Today she wants the truth heard as to her as it is to God every life is valuable. Look at the impact one life makes. Nick is one example--if a man without limbs can live life to the fullest and dream big--he says "Why can't we all?" The Bible says with God all things are possible and Nick definitely is proof of that!
