Just as Eve was misled in the garden of Eden and took of the forbidden fruit so have we. She disobeyed and did not seek God. It is time we sought God in the true understanding of what He has given us -- as truth is needed to help others in this hurting world. We must share the truth if we truly want to help others become free--as the Lord said his people perish for lack of knowledge. Ask for the truth for in Matthew 7:7 it is written---ask and it shall be given ye,seek and ye shall find,knock and the door will be opened.

The future is at stake and apathy is no longer an option--the enemy is knocking at the door of our children's mind--you can no longer afford to look away. City on a hill radio show hopes to serve by shining the light on the truth of the first amendment and other thingsthat is used to take away our God-given rights to acknowledge Him as Lord of our hearts, mind and soul.

In the History pages is a picture of the First Prayer in Congress on Sept 7, 1774 which lasted three hours and it was said George Washington stayed on his knees. See link of picture in Library of Congress. As one will note from Benjamin Franklin--his speech at the latter part of his life shows an awesome view of God and the need for His guidance daily.

This is a picture of George Washington kneeling in prayer at Valley Forge. A man heard him praying and went home to tell his wife they were on the losing side for such powerful prayers had to be heard by God. It is our prayer that you who enter this site will leave different. That God will plant a seed in you to shine His light. George Washington one of the greatest general, president, statesman this world has ever known- humbled himself before Almighty God and look at what he did. Heaven smiled on him and helped him and other men who loved God win great battles to form this nation that many long to come to and which you and I are blessed to live in. Another great and humble man, Pres. Reagan knew how blessed we are and he wanted his nation to shine like a "city on a hill." To whom much is given much is expected. Let the key to America's light shine--for in God "we trust."

We need people like George Washington for leaders that it may go well with us...

America and the term "City on a Hill"was used inits very beginning out of the Scriptures as a reminder that all eyes were upon them and that Jehovah -God was their helper and watched over them. And that if they dealt falsely with their God that he shall withdraw his help and that they shall be made a by-word. They followed their covenant with God andbecame a land flowing with milk and honey. The whole world wanted to come to America and find out their secret. It's no secret at all--it is following the word of God. The whole world can see that, if they truly look for the truth-- as God wants to bless the whole world--as He gave his one and only Son for us all. Come experience this website which we hope will lead you to a closer walk with our awesome God and point you to the amazing Savior of the world. The power of God that can set men free was clearly shown in the founding of this nation--an example for the world--and for each of our lives--individually. However you and I can not keep that freedom without an on-going relationship with Christ. Read Matthew 7:7 and be blessed and find God's Word is "sweeter than honey."

We, of City on a Hill, still prays that God has not taken his eye upon this nation --yes a City on a Hill so that all the world can see the blessing of an Almighty, powerful God is also for them.May we all remember to humble ourselves turn from our evil ways and seek God's face that He may heal our land.

Let us seek God--the Founding Father's did and that made all the difference.
