"No Greater Love", Our Military and US
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13
This scripture should mean a lot to each of us when we think of our military men and women . When you think of how much throughout history, time and time again our military have sacrificed so much blood, sweat, tears and family to protect our way of life--then we as grateful citizens should be more than happy to come to their aid when called upon specially if it just means phone calls.
- General James Amos warns (head of the Marine Corps)as he told reporters today that a change in the policy could result in casualties. "When your life hangs on the line, you don't want anything distracting... Mistakes and inattention or distractions cost Marines' lives."
- Chaplains won't be able to freely express their faith, Daniel Blomberg of Alliance Defense Fund said "they feel that repealing don't ask, don't tell will put them in the situation where they have to choose between obeying the God they serve and the country they love."
