National Prayer Requests

Add- On Prayer List--Do We Dare Ask God for so much -- I say yes--the Founding Fathers did! 

Lord, please put a hedge of protection upon those attending the 8-28-10 rally--Restoring America with good intent of honoring your ways and what is right and good for this nation and its people.  Please do not let the evil ones thwart the success of this rally or endanger any of those attending this event with good intentions.  Let the evil ones be exposed where they can do no harm and their plans and manipulations will not come to fruition instead may everyone know that the Lord Almighty is there and indeed you are the God of this nation.  Amen. (Thank you Lord for answering this beautifully--please bless Glenn Beck and the organizers and protect them.)

Lord,  please help families facing financial hardships through these hard economic times to see your mighty hand of providence in their finances, health and work and may there be such a great awakening to the truth that with men it is impossible but with God all things are possible.

Lord, let the people wake up to the truth about Agenda 21.

Lord,  please do not let the UN Treaty on the Rights of a Child be ratified.

Lord,  please protect the attendees at the 8/28/10 event in Washington DC and send your angels to guard the people so that there will be a great exercise of freedom shown with peaceful gatherings by those who only wants what is good and right in your eyes for this nation.  Please do not let those who seek to do evil get their way at that event.  We ask for your great hand of protection also upon the tea party attendees for the 9/12 events throughout the nation and may  you be given the glory and honor as you are the One who formed and blessed this nation.

Lord, please let there be a great revival in this nation starting on April 15, 2010--a returning back to you and your ways.

Lord, please do not let our nation turn its back against Israel. 

Lord, please do not let same sex marriage laws stay in the states that have it--let the people be able to change it.

Lord, please let our leaders turn from their selfish desires and instead to truly do their duty to serve the people and their nation under God.  May they hear your counsel even as they sleep and may you give them the ability to follow it.

Lord please help the mothers and fathers to see the truth that America (they) need you.

Lord, please free Michael Behenna and others like him wrongfully charged while serving their country.

Lord, please let the catch and release policies of the military be changed so that the enemy will be taken out and not be allowed to come back to fight and kill our soldiers another day.

Lord, please help our soldiers and their families and let the rules of engagement be changed to help the soldiers fight instead of aiding the enemy. 

Lord, please let us have new leaders that will be true to the Constitution you have given us and change health care bill for the better. 

Lord, please let the American people see the truth about the climate change agenda and to not let our government agencies pass rules that would cause more economic pain such as increased energy costs etc.

Lord, please stop the mass killings of the unborn and let the mothers instead choose to give life and allow others to adopt these innocent babies.  May you open their eyes to see the good that can come from a life-giving decision vs death.

Lord,  please do not let the Federal Government pass an anti-bullying law for all the states that would protect certain groups over others.  Let it die in Congress as we do not want our children indoctrinated in homosexuality. Lord please do not let the States pass anti-bullying laws that would promote certain groups over others and if they already have please allow for the repeal or amendment of such laws so that it does not harm the minds of ur children.

Lord, please let the homosexuals see your amazing love is for them too and may they realize they too can get out of their pit, their anger,bitterness and hurt and that you have a better life for them.  Please send them people that will allow them to see your comforting grace and kindness and turn them into a new creation with a future and a hope.

Lord, please let those addicted to pornography be set free.  Please give them the strength to leave the mindset that is dark and doomed and let the Son shine in their minds and set the captives free.  May they ask you for help and see with men it is impossible but with God "all things are possible."

In Jesus name we ask these things.  Amen

Benjamin Franklin's Prayer

 In the beginning of the Contest with G. Britain, when we were sensible of danger we had daily prayer in this room for the divine protection.- Our prayers, Sir, were heard, graciously answered....

I see of this truth- that God Governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without his notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without his aid? We have been assured, Sir, in the sacred writings, that "except the Lord build the House they labour in vain that build it." I firmly believe this; and I also believe that without his concurring aid we shall succeed in this political building no better, than the Builders of Babel...

I therefore beg leave to move- henceforth prayers imploring the assistance of Heaven, and its blessings on our deliberations, be held in this Assembly every morning before we proceed to business...

Lord, please wake up the American people to cherish their freedoms and protect them and remember what the Founding Fathers such as George Washington knew (the beginning of wisdom is the fear or "awe" of the LORD) and so did Elisha.

II Kings 6:16-17

"Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them."

Genesis 4:6  "If you do what is right, will you not be accepted?   But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door, it desires to have you, but you must master it."  As in the days of Cain and Abel--the  problem is still the same--pray many in the middle east will hear God's leading and master sin and may we help share that message.

Lord, please bless the work of Mosab Hassan Yousef (son of Hamas) as he shines the light of truth upon the middle east turmoil.  As you said in Zechariah 1:2-4 may they ponder on your words and turn back to you.  And may we who know Christ be not like Jonah but instead submit to you as you showed no one is beyond your love and compassion.  May we be bold and pray fervently to shine your light to them who are seemingly far from you-- yet as we see in Mosab Hassan Yousef (son of Haman) can turn and be changed as a son of Almighty God.  He who the Son sets free is free indeed!
